Season of Giving

The elves here at Rusty Pickle have been busy cleaning and reorganizing with the expansion of our warehouse over the last couple of weeks.  We're excited about all of the changes we've made and for those that are yet to come!  During our Spring Fall Cleaning madness, we've come across loads of extra goodies that we'd love to donate.  If you know of a school, YMCA, Boys & Girls club or other organization that benefit kids that would love to have some craft kits donated, please contact us!  You can e-mail tasha@rustypickle.com for info.

It's just another way for us to say THANK YOU for continuously inspiring us! From all of us at Rusty Pickle, Happy Thanksgiving!

The List

No, we don't mean Santa's "Naughty or Nice" list-  we mean our RAK list!  We've enjoyed giving away loads of prizes since the official launch of our blog, just two months ago (has it really been that long?!). Because we chose to give away the latest and greatest products this year, we've had to ask you to wait a bit longer for these coveted goodies!  We're happy to announce that we've finally started to receive shipments of our acrylic albums!  This means that you can start expecting your prizes- just in time for the holidays! ;)  Many of your goodies have shipped already, but with the holiday here in the States, please expect delays.  We thank you for your patience and your continued support- you keep us excited about scrapbooking!

Below you will find our list of winners (how about another big round of congratulations to them?).  We'd like to ask that IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR NAME ON THE LIST, AND YOU WERE A WINNER (that's key here- lol) please e-mail us!

Pickle Party Albums

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the Pickle Party contest and especially to those of you who shared your albums with us. This is just a quick update on when to expect your beautiful works of art back home as we know many of you are just itching to flip through those beautiful pages again!  The albums were sent out to be photographed, with an expected return date to Rusty Pickle on Thanksgiving week.  This means that we should be receiving them here at the Pickle any day now and will begin shipping on December 3, 2007.  Thanks again for your creativity and patience!

I am a Gymnastics "Mom" again (Oops I mean Dad)

So it is 2 AM and I am working on setting up classes for Europe.  It just so happens now is a great time to call over there.  Even though I am getting a little tired.

So I think I am driving my wife crazy.  I have been home more that usual and Well- I know I am driving Tasha crazy.  We had a great weekend.  We went out and celebrated my birthday(from a couple of weeks ago).  We went to the Tuscany restaurant here in Utah.  It was sooo good.  The pork chops were AMAZING. We had a cozy romantic dinner and only talked a little about work and then were off to a movie.  The movie was a way packed so we went shopping for Christmas presents for about an hour till the next movie was to start.  After the movie, we went to the Anniversary Inn as Tash had set up a babysitter for the night.  In the morning we had to leave early for a couples massage.  WOW – is life good.  From there we had to run to pick up the kids and head down to the BYU Football game for my cougars.  We won.  What  great day. But it got even better.  We came home about 7 PM and I went to bed.  Yep.  It was just about the perfect 24 hours.

For Sunday, things changed a little.  First of all, I guess I wasn’t supposed to go to bed early last night.   So, I had to feed the kids, get them ready, go to church alone with them.  Mason had  a melt down at church but we survived.  Came home and made lunch (ham and cheese sandwiches with dill chips – from Canada – my trip 2 weeks ago) Put Mason down for a nap.  Then I WATCHED the football game and Scrapbooked for the rest of the day.  I had to make some samples albums for stores.  Audrey made us all dinner – peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  I was impressed.  Audrey just brought them in and I must say they were pretty good – especially with a glass of milk.  I then put the kids to bed.  This was actually a pretty fun day also.

On Monday, I confirmed to teach a class in South Africa.  I am pretty excited about this one.  My schedule for 2008 is getting pretty busy.  I have trips to Japan, Canada, Sweden, the UK and Holland and now South Africa all lined up for 2008.  I still need to confirm Australia.  I never thought I would be able to travel like this.   I feel so blessed.

Now, About the gymnastic mom thing.  For about a year and half, I would take Audrey to Gymnastics.  I would hang out with the other “moms” and eventually we started scrapbooking during the gymnastics class.  So it was me with them Gymnastic moms.  Then Earlier this year the Gym we attended closed.  We tried 3 other gyms but Audrey didn’t like them.  So tonight we tried another gym and she loved it.  Now, when I am in town, I will be hanging out with the other “moms” and maybe we can start scrapbooking again.  Well have to wait and see.
