Happy Friday! (A note from Tasha)

I'm so excited for the winners. For those who did not win, I'm sure we'll have more give-a-ways; after all this is Lance's blog and we all know how he likes to give things away, especially in exchange for chocolate!!!.

To clarify about some of the confusion during this last challenge, I just want to say that our entire crew has been working very hard getting ready for CHA and getting ready for the expo in Costa Mesa. Our creative blog co-director taught at the Costa Mesa expo and was frantically trying to juggle the blog challenge at the same time, while teaching in Orange County. Everyone has been doing their best and we are all working hard to keep things going during this busy time. Unfortunately mistakes do happen and we are very sorry for that, there has been no dishonesty, or malicious intent to harm or otherwise upset anyone that visits this joyful blog. Please keep this the happy place that it is meant to be and if you need to vent, feel free to contact Lance directly, he's always looking for opportunities to make the ladies feel special.

Thanks to everyone for all of their support. And if any of you are taking his classes in New York, tell Lance that his wife says "hi"!!!

A note to everyone who supports and follows Rusty Pickle

I just wanted to shout out to all of our awesome fans, customers, friends and otherwise partners in crime!!  :)
Also to our wonderful blogger friends who do such an awesome job of keeping this blog and the RP blog running all the time!  I know this past week has been crazy busy and a little confusing for all of us with traveling to shows, teaching classes for Rusty Pickle, running all the giveaways on the blog while CHA is also going on; oh and that thing about keeping our personal lives running as well!!!  I am sure we can all understand how posts get mixed up and things get a little crazy.  As for myself, I am thankful for all that others do here on the blogs that make my life so much easier and I am always thankful for Rusty Pickle and their generosity in giving out prizes!  I have been working with Rusty Pickle for quite some time now and it has been a great ride with excitement, fun, bumps, laughter, TONS of hard work, some pain and always, in the end, I feel grateful to be on this grand adventure with people I love, people who I admire and all the new friends I meet along the way.

Season of Giving

The elves here at Rusty Pickle have been busy cleaning and reorganizing with the expansion of our warehouse over the last couple of weeks.  We're excited about all of the changes we've made and for those that are yet to come!  During our Spring Fall Cleaning madness, we've come across loads of extra goodies that we'd love to donate.  If you know of a school, YMCA, Boys & Girls club or other organization that benefit kids that would love to have some craft kits donated, please contact us!  You can e-mail tasha@rustypickle.com for info.

Pickle Party Albums

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the Pickle Party contest and especially to those of you who shared your albums with us. This is just a quick update on when to expect your beautiful works of art back home as we know many of you are just itching to flip through those beautiful pages again!  The albums were sent out to be photographed, with an expected return date to Rusty Pickle on Thanksgiving week.  This means that we should be receiving them here at the Pickle any day now and will begin shipping on December 3, 2007.  Thanks again for your creativity and patience! 

Pickle Party Winner with Lance

Here she is Heidi Erickson, the winner of the PICKLE PARTY WITH LANCE album contest!

She is an absolutely amazing girl! We just fell in love with her (even more than we did after seeing her album-if that is possible) she is genuine and sweet, wicked funny, kind and generous. Heidi won a private class for her and all of her friends with Lance and then dinner for her and three friends. What a fun night it was for everyone involved - absolutely picklicious ! (to the far left in this picture is Ginger Ditton, 1st runner up in the album contest)

SCRAP HAPPY SISTERS was the lucky store that won 1st runner up for the PICKLE PARTY with Lance. They enjoyed having Lance at the store and being the very first store to have a class with the brand new Arcrylic Albums hot off the press. Congrats Kit & Kris.

Arizona Armstrong Fundraiser

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that attended the Armstrong Family Fundraising event in Arizona yesterday.  Lance enjoyed himself silly!  Here are some fun photos from the awesome event.  We'll also be posting an album with tons more- so be sure to check that out! Pickle Party Album Contest Winner Announced!

Thank you for your patience in awaiting our announcement of the winner; we had a hard time confirming some of the contestants' information. It was so hard to pick the finalists in the Pickle Party Album Contest, and even harder to narrow it down to just one winner!  It took 16 Chefs, the RP warehouse crew, Tasha and Lance to vote on the albums during our recent Chef Retreat.

We would like to express our thanks to all of the finalists for sharing your lives with us - your albums were even more amazing in person!  Your heartfelt stories just glowed from the pages of your books.  It was tough, but we were finally able to decide on a winner!
